Welcome to the Research & Development (R&D) Unit of Pathivara Engineering College (PEC).
Established in 2081 B.S., the R&D Unit aims to foster research activities across various emerging and challenging fields in Engineering, Science, and Technology. The initiative is designed to encourage both faculty and students to explore new research areas, as well as to delve into traditional techniques, enhancing the overall research capacity of the institution. The Unit also publishes the Pathivara Journal Of Engineering & Technology (PJET), a platform dedicated to scientific inquiry and innovation.
The key objectives of the R&D Unit at Pathivara Engineering College (PEC) are:
- To foster awareness, interest, and opportunities in research and development among both faculty and students, cultivating a research-oriented environment within every department to improve skills, qualifications, and professionalism.
- To support students in conducting research under various student project schemes funded by agencies such as municipalities, UGC, and others.
- To establish strong collaborations with industries, government agencies, professional bodies, and the broader community, promoting research and development activities and showcasing the college's research contributions to external stakeholders.
- To motivate faculty and students to publish research and technical papers in national and international journals, advancing their academic presence.
- To organize training sessions, seminars, and workshops on research-related topics, facilitating knowledge dissemination and fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing within the institution.
